Off-topic?!? How do you figure? Its on topic to Re^2: Can't find function in @INC ... yeah the message isn't listed verbatim, thats what splain is for ... which is what amon probably used ... AfAIK its safe to assume even amon noticed those printf escapes ... perldiag says Spots that vary are denoted with a %s or other printf-style escape. Or how does splain help to find error-msgs close to Can't find function in @INC? It doesn't :) What it does show is that the error message is made up (if its not in perldiag its fake )
