hljs is supposed to come from highlight.min.js, so if that js isn't loaded ... it probably shouldn't affect the dropdown menu stuff

I would look for more errors earlier than this one

    That demo works for me. The total errors I get when reloading a page are:

    window.controllers is deprecated.         Yes, I didn't spot that - thanks. However, fixing it makes no difference to the fact that the drop downs unfortunately still don't work for me.

        But %C2%AD is allowed. The problem isn't the use of illegal characters; the problem is the use of the wrong character.
