perlmonks App?

I was trying to search an android app for perlmonks reader type stuff.

But I failed to discover any readers for perlmonks in google play store.

Does it really exist? If not, why don't someone write one for android system, so people can read/post perlmonks using their phones.

    Excellent idea!

Please post a message on Perlmonks once you have uploaded your app to the Android Store.

I the meantime we will all have to struggle with our browsers to access PerlMonks.

If I remember well, many years ago there was a way to access a more "simple" version of Perlmonks, some kind of "text only" version, but I don't know the URL anymore. Perhaps some brethren with a better memory might remember it.

I've just tried perlmonks on my phones browser and it seems OK to me, certainly usable.

It would be nice to set a different theme per device type, as the theme I use is a bit dark on the phone, but i guess some smart user CSS might fix that?

What are the expected features which couldn't be implemented in HTML?

a nodelet hack could sense the UserAgent of a mobile browser and reset CSS and general appearance.
