I followed the README instructions for Strawberry Perl ... I didn't follow those instructions - I merely ran cpan -i DBD::Pg (Sorry - I didn't pay heed to the significance of that sentence first time round.) I would expect that's the reason that my attempt succeeded, but yours didn't. Those instructions are apparently old, obsolete and wrong. Cheers, Rob
