Yes, yes. Here we are. How sad and delusional the ones who stay and post answers and interact must be. Imagine, imagine!, how much more deserving of abject pity is one who believes that to be true and stays anyway.

Wow ... if this site is dead, then I reckon we've now proven that there is life after death.

Heh. The fact that the post was marked for reaping, and was subsequently removed in a few hours, clearly disproves your point. :)

And I smile every time I hear 'Perl is dead!', because it means the value of my knowledge has increased a little, and the value of this site continues to abide. I knew just a little when I joined almost twenty years ago. Now I know a little more, and still, I continue to learn, thanks to this site.

    Bless you all.

Thanks PJ. We owe you so much. Groklaw -- RIP -- 2003 to 2013.

Thank you PerlMonks for making me so productive. I can now crank out hundreds of lines of good clean code per day. Been too busy to ask or answer questions about one of the highest paying programming languages...

How many times did you post this already?

( On a side note: Where is eyepopslikeamosquito when we really need a list? ;-P )
