I apologize too.

I have a patch for 'Everything::HTML::tagApprove' and it even has an inbuilt mechanism to be overridden if a Everything::NewHTML:tagApprove exists.

sub tagApprove { for(_test){ goto &$_ if $_ }
BEGIN { my $exist= eval { require Everything::NewHTML; 1 }; sub _test {

other options are expanding the CSS or totally disabling the tag in question. (no details here)
