in thread My problems to understand the Perl documentation

Three days after the thread started. ✓

Definitively good advice and answers already given. ✓

Thread has died down. ✓

LILO strategy applied. ✓

Anonymous post. ✓

“Quotes” and italics. ✓

Extremely vague, we might even say historically partly probably, regurgitation of already given advice. ✓

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

Looks like a good start on rules for an AI engine to auto detect anony-sunny posts. Some more:

    • Node-id very close to another anony post.
    • Use of "American quotation style."
    • Underlining random words that are not links.
    • Making up hyphenated words (e.g. not-unexpected, independently-reliable, somewhat-familiar).
    • No code (or at most "extemporaneous code").
    • Same homespun wisdoms repetitively posted to questions to which they barely relate.
    • Responding to the wrong post.
    • Extravagant typography, stylistic devices, flowery analogies, and unnecessary quotes ... though he appears to have toned these down recently.
    • Giveaway words/phrases (e.g Rhett Butler, tinker's dam, brownie points, FSM, ...). Also toned down recently.
