I have wasted many hours of time-equals-money looking for what tunred out to be a typo. You declare a vairable with my, not because the computer needs it, but because you do. The human brain is amazingly capable of overloking differences in spelling without immediately seeing them, and this can be disastrous when reading mountains of source code. Kindly notice that every sentnce in this very post contains an example of what I mean. Did you see them befre I just pointed them out to you?
