in thread Markdown is now supported for comments, experimentally

I did see that. My assumption was that as the option was available now, that the feature was available again. Can the PM site either fix the feature, or remove the visible option?

I don't know were this option is supposed to be, but I think I just recently saw a patch from erzuuli/jdporter claiming to disable it.

Did you check if it's still there?

On another note: you or anyone else is welcome to take my wikisyntax solution and patch the JS to understand Markdown.

The option is now not available in "User Settings".

I removed it based on your tip. Thanks.
