reisinge has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Does anyone know how's Larry Wall doing? Is he still working (on/with Perl/Raku)? Any recent videos, blogs, code by him?

AFAIK did Larry Wall retire from Perl5 development about 20 years ago, and dedicated some time to Raku's design.

I think I saw him and his wife in Riga's 2019 YAPC˛,the last European one before the pandemic.

If there is any blog or website showing his current work, then this should be easy to find.°

I'm afraid this is not the place to discuss any further private issues or gossip.

He is not like the POTUS who's obliged to give press conferences or publish things like his health status.

He will become 68 in September and I hope we will all respect his privacy.

°) like his colorful website linked on his Wikipedia page

˛) can't find him on the speakers list, so maybe it was another one.

He was in Glasgow in 2018, but not in Riga in 2019, for that he released this video instead.
