Monk Quips Quest

Esteemed Monk kcott has recently proposed an excellent idea.

heretoforthwithstanding, we invite all monks to submit ideas for new monk quips!

Your quip suggestion should include the following details:

• Intended quip location: either XP Nodelet, Chatterbox, or Monkbar (that's the page header).
• Text of quip.
• Optional: background & foreground colours. If you include these, be sure they are nicely contrasting.

I was going to say that I'll get the ball rolling; however, ++Happy-the-monk has already posted some suggestions in 'Promoting old (2009) node: "I want more monkquips"'.
Update: Happy-the-monk's suggestions moved to the current thread (Monk Quips Quest) following successful "Reparent" consideration.

Anyway, here's three from me (one for each of the quip locations):

I'd like to see the current list of quips, just to grab the average sense and usage: I collected Monkbar quips once, but I can find it only obfuscated now.

I'd add also some famous sentences from some respected ones.

I think it would be better to work in vacuo; don't be biased by prior art.
If you suggest something which is "good" but "too similar to an existing entry", we can tweak it as we go.
