What do you use perl for?

  • for fun
  • l'art pour l'art
  • garbage in, garbage out
  • whitehat stuff
  • blackhat stuff
  • keep a business running I don't understand
  • keep my own business running
  • make money
  • Save the world! (how?)
  • Other (please elaborate)

As usual: a combination of many of those. I fist look at perl with *any* job-related programming/scripting issue. I also look at perl when trying to express a new idea. The I us it to improve my CPAN modules and to compare to other languages. In all of these FUN! is the most important factor.

    Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn
