In Cygwin it wants to display on X11 :0. Is there an easy way to make it display in Windows when running from a Cygwin terminal?

    You can easily run X in cygwin. I don't have the MSWin computer here, but it used to be startxwin from the xinit package, not sure whether there are newer ways.

    Running X also means you can now run xterm and many other goodies!

    map{substr$_->[0],$_->[1]||0,1}[\*||{},3],[[]],[ref qr-1,-,-1],[{}],[sub{}^*ARGV,3]

      I never had the opportunity to test it, but WSL under Windows11 claimed to allow running X apps alongside Win apps

      I only had brief experiences with WSL under Win10, which mostly worked. But I got heavily bitten by registry settings (HyperV-something?) interfering with Oracle's VirtualBox.

      Overall having a (/another?) possibility to seamlessly test Perl code under Linux and Win without the extra layer of VB would be very exciting.

      Cheers Rolf

      Yeah, I know I can, but don't unless I absolutely have to.
