Maybe just post each link in the most appropriate location? Some links from reddit are current events that classify as "News". Other links from reddit are blogs where someone discusses some aspect of the language, which seem to naturally fit in Meditations. Some could even be "Cool Uses for Perl". | [reply] |

If we were to syndicate Reddit, it could be reusing some other RSS nodelet thing. I don't see any sense of reposting stuff from there to here in any automated or regular fashion. This just creates additional moderation burden on our site.

I don't see it as "syndicating" Reddit but spreading news curated by Brian over more channels.
We have regulars here who don't use Reddit.
And I rather prefer discussing them here than on Reddit.

I found those links very interesting and worthy of discussion. And we are currently not overwhelmed with moderation tasks.
I'm asking because just posting links is not our usual style here.
Update
I'm not talking about linking to Reddit but reusing the curated links posted there

Maybe I'm still not understanding you. It seems to me that either
- You can manually take the links you're interested in from there and put them in a post here, either in Meditations or Perl News.
- You're thinking we should automate something.
If the latter, it would be helpful if you could elaborate.

Another alternative target could be Meditations
I think that if this is going to be done at all then that's a better place for them. Not sure that any of the examples you've posted here really count as News (although I haven't perused the podcast). Also, if they start off in Meditations it's easier to relocate them post-facto, if desired.
Maybe try it for a week or two and see if there's any traction?

I think the rationale for using the News section is that these are just links to external content, and traditionally the expectation was for Meditations to be more substantial content for discussion.
