AIUI, it took about 3 years for the GLR to land. Even setting that aside, have there been significant performance improvements in the 130 months since this prediction? If this were true, would Raku have general performance (apart from specifically chosen microbenchmarks) comparable to Perl by now? I'm trying to backtest my predictions to see if they were correct.
