ndo has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Hello Monks, :D
Today i was googling on how Perl and Unix are related.
(Because kind of realised that Perl might be more related to Unix then Linux).
And accidentally found this book: UNIX and Perl to the Rescue.
By taking a look at reviews it sounds like something i was looking for. Kind of introductory Perl book. And that it also talks about Unix, seems also interesting to me.
Ofc i havent read the book yet. But i might, most probably. So it remains to be seen what it is.
So, since i also want to look at some Python introduction.
I was wondering can anyone suggest some similar book for Python? I wonder if you can compare it with this book: Programming the Raspberry Pi: Getting Started With Python.
p.s. Since i dont know of any Python Monks, and the question is also Perl related. I decided asking it here would be somewhat appropriate.
