The node "Indirect" object syntax? was posted as a Question, and I approved it as such. Now (a few minutes later) I see it’s become an unapproved Meditation.

This surprises me. On many occasions I’ve seen a Consideration requesting that an approved node be transferred to another section, so I assumed that a node, once approved, couldn’t be transferred via the “Move to:” option in the Approval Nodelet. Was I wrong?

I’m also surprised that moving a node should cancel its approval. Is this a bug, or is it the expected behaviour?

Thanks,

Athanasius <°(((><contra mundum Iustus alius egestas vitae, eros Piratica,

Nodes are approved into an section. But on the other hand, only nodes that are of the appropriate type for a section get shown as "approved". So if you're moving a node to another section, you also need to unapprove and reapprove the node so the approval is for the correct section.

So this behaviour is expected if you know the underlying tables, but it certainly is not intuitive.

It's been me. Me! I'm responsible. (waving hands high above head :)

I was discussing with Muba in CB if this isn't rather meditation and he said it's too late, cause it has already been approved.

I used the "Moderation Nodelet", but wasn't aware that I'd need to reapprove it.

I approved it now, but with the effect that the "Approval Nodelet" shows Approved by Athanasius while the "Moderation Nodelet" says Approved by LanX

Before you start seeking where the "Moderation Nodelet" is hidden, I was added into pmdev some time ago in order to help Corion improving the spam filter heuristics.

This and some other (confusing) Nodelets can be activated then.

Right. Please don't use the Moderation Nodelet. Use only the Approval Nodelet in "production". Thanks. :-)

I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.
Well ... Please where is this documented? :)
