<p>
When logged in, [id://3628|Newest Nodes] starts with
</p>
<blockquote>
<em>Show nodes created ... More [Newest Nodes Settings]</em>
</blockquote>
<p>
and this all works as expected.
</p>
<p>
However, when not logged in (i.e. as [Anonymous Monk]), the same is displayed but the <u>Newest Nodes Settings</u> link does not link to [Newest Nodes Settings];
instead, it links to a [Super Search] page showing:
</p>
<blockquote>
<em><strong>Found 0 nodes</strong> ... where title contains all of "Newest", "Nodes", "Settings"</em>
</blockquote>
<p>
I don't know what the intended functionality is but I suspect this isn't it.
</p>
<p>
Here's a non-exhaustive list of possibilities for [Anonymous Monk]:
</p>
<ul>
<li>
Remove the <em>"More [Newest Nodes Settings]"</em> part.
</li>
<li>
Provide a link to a node allowing limited settings changes, e.g. order of nodes (oldest instead of best first), depth of nodes ("Re^5: ..." seems to be the default), etc.
</li>
<li>
Change wording so that it's clear this is a search, not a settings change.
</li>
</ul>
<p>
I'm not making a request for any of those specifically nor do I have any particular preference.
I do, however, think that the wording should match the action.
