node with no Vote button (but still vote radio buttons)

While reading -Mouse, I noticed it had no Vote button even though it had the radio buttons for voting.

I was able to vote on other nodes, so doesn't appear to be a block against me voting.

Also, I have voted an "ancient" nodes, before (though not recently).

That is a bug in the UI which I'm sure I introduced, and relatively recently. Thank you for the report.

FYI, there is no policy against voting on nodes in those old, "closed" sections, nor even on commenting in them. Only new root-level posts have been disabled.

ah! so was no implicit. It seems worth to specify it (or link to your reply) into the Snippets Section and Code Catacombs deprecated for new posting thread.

maybe this is related to the fact that is in the Snippet section?

Infact this, and other, sections are available only for reading, browsing, and searching as stated here. Voting it is not mentioned, but seems implicit.

This happened in 2009, 5 years before you join the brotherhood.
