Do you guys consult on Perl 6? Or just 5?

Pretty much both of them. There used to be some monks insisting that Perl 6 questions be marked in the title as Perl 6.

Wrong. That is still the policy. Mark your off-topic posts about "Perl6" in the subject line, just like your posts about C, or JavaScript, or any other related language that is not Perl, so they do not cause confusion. That's not a "used to be", that's basic common sense and etiquette and universally recommended here.

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.

No. It is not "universally recommended" and certainly not policy, and Perl 6 posts are not off-topic here.

Please cite one example of dissent against that de facto policy. For example, according to Editing node titles w.r.t. Perl 6 from November last year, there was consensus among all who posted that including a tag in the subject line. Why do you now deny this?
