in thread How to rewrite the contents of the file using perl?

I had mentioned the part of the script below the question where i exac +tly looks for an error. Here i had used separate sub routine to rewrite the contents of the fi +le. (i.e sub if_config_file_rename_and_modify_it,sub change_file,sub write +_new_file). Absolutely this part is not working for me now. Can you please provide me the things which i need to change

Please rewrite your program so that it only contains the parts that don't work but still is a complete program.

If copying the files works for you, leave that out.

If renaming the files works for you, leave that out.

I can not give you good advice if you don't tell me what part does not work for you and if you don't show me where exactly it doesn't work for you.

If you show me everything, I have to search myself and duplicate your work. Please help me by doing the work you can already do, that is, removing all the parts that work while still keeping a program that demonstrates your problem.
