      As far as the Python community goes, it's not normal I know but it's also not much of an outlier. It's almost like an elementary school yard sometimes. If you say, "I use Perl!" and the person you're talking to tries to humiliate you for it, you know what language they prefer without another word.

        The only language in wide currency today that I think is unequivocally bad is PHP. Haskell is a meme academic language but I would hesitate to call it "bad".

        PHP-Programmiererkonzentrationslager doesn't quite as horrible.
