in thread PL_strtab/SHAREKEYS and copy-on-write leak

For goodness’s sake, “it’s not always about me!”   Stick to the topic!   Five people who probably had an opinion about my post (so far), presumably finding it to be “bad,” nevertheless contributed nothing so-far to the possible edification of the OP who asked an important-to-him question and needs the best answers he can get.   Don’t like what my answer was?   Then, speak up and tell all of us why!   I spent a lot of time thinking about and then writing that comment.   Where is the insufferable technical flaw in it, or in my subsequent recommendations?   (I want to know, too!)   Obviously, at least five of you must think that you know of one ... but won’t say what it is.   That fundamentally defeats the purpose of a specialized technical forum.

Cast five down-votes if you want to or, fifty but let every single one of them be accompanied by a reasoned technical rebuttal or correction that actually moves the conversation forward in a useful way.   That’s what we’re all here for.   Get off the fence.   Paddle, steer, or grab a bucket and bail.

... let every single one of them be accompanied by a reasoned technical rebuttal or correction that actually moves the conversation forward in a useful way.

That's what earned my downvote, for reasons already discussed.

Paddle, steer, or grab a bucket and bail.

I know someone who is neither paddling nor steering, but who certainly has a bucket and is bailing like the dickens. Unfortunately, he is, much more often than not, bailing into the boat rather than out.

    "Stick to the topic!"

I am, I responded to exactly the topic you yourself raised.

"but let every single one of them be accompanied by a reasoned technical rebuttal or correction that actually moves the conversation forward in a useful way."

There have been many such responses to your posts correcting or questioning you, none of which you have responded to. Given the fact that you continue to spread your gibberish, awful advice, baseless opinions and delusional stories of what you claim to have done. Yet more 'do as I say, not as I do' from you, including this last reply.

The list goes on, for literally years. You clearly aren't here to help people. I'm sure you get quite the ego boost from your behaviour, that's all that anyone is getting out of it.

This may as well have said, "how dare you ask me to stop shitting on your lawn. Do as I say, not as I do". Sad to see what has become of you, it started out shitty and went downhill since. Is what was her name still around, Nancy? You should ask that she gets you some help. Seek a professional (you are not one by any means) in the correct field
