For goodness’s sake, “it’s not always about me!” Stick to the topic! Five people who probably had an opinion about my post (so far), presumably finding it to be “bad,” nevertheless contributed nothing so-far to the possible edification of the OP who asked an important-to-him question and needs the best answers he can get. Don’t like what my answer was? Then, speak up and tell all of us why! I spent a lot of time thinking about and then writing that comment. Where is the insufferable technical flaw in it, or in my subsequent recommendations? (I want to know, too!) Obviously, at least five of you must think that you know of one ... but won’t say what it is. That fundamentally defeats the purpose of a specialized technical forum.
Cast five down-votes if you want to – or, fifty – but let every single one of them be accompanied by a reasoned technical rebuttal or correction that actually moves the conversation forward in a useful way. That’s what we’re all here for. Get off the fence. Paddle, steer, or grab a bucket and bail.
