PM thinks I'm AnonymousMonk even after logging in

After changing my password I accidentally logged in as AnonymousMonk and asked for a permanent cookie. Now I can login ok but quickly revert to AM status. For example I can see my user details but not change them. Can anyone help out with how to rectify this?

    Didja consider deleting the cookie?
