Hello Monks,

Sorry to bug you in this early hour, but where did go? This site was being maintained by a member of the monastery. It also allowed other monks to host their very own home pages. was the one I maintained for myself.

Today, as I tried to ssh to it to update a few files, I've discovered that it's no longer there. When I tried to view the site through browser, I got redirected to Could it mean that the domain name has expired? Actually this page that I'm being redirected to says 'Client is Offline'. I hope it's down for maintenance and will be up in short order.

Could anyone update me and other concerned monks? Much appreciated ;-)

I should have sent out a notice earlier, but Speakeasy physically moved the Atlanta POP. They are currently in the process of working with their upstream provider to get the routing tables straightened out. This move occurred about 10:30 UTC this morning, and continues to be unresolved.

No OS upgrades (yet), and I've been paying the bills, so no worries there.

Just keep trying periodically. It'll come back up sooner or later. I didn't know this was going to happen until a few hours before it actually did, and I was remiss on not posting something on my homenode. This outage is also affecting

Finally seems to have come back! - for me anyway (UK).

Speakeasy's status update on still has the Atlanta POP move as being an unresolved issue, so may be problems still.

I also have an account on jcwren's server, and I seem to recall a message he sent to all of the monks, saying that he would be taking the server down for an O.S. upgrade, and routine maintenance. This occured a while back, and I haven't tried to log-in lately.
