Have you tried getting the latest version of CGI.pm? I had a problem one time and it was caused by my old version of CGI handling cookies wrong. Updated to the latest version and it worked fine. | [reply] |
Unfort its a private site, and I cant post a link to it,
Hi, I have this problem and would like to know if any of you could help me. Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about this project, because it is top secret and I can't even give you an example that resembles the problem. I hope you know what I mean. All suggestions are welcome, but since they can't be based on anything substantial, they're probably not going to help. Thanks anyway!

How about: The site is on my machine which is connected to the internet via a dial-up (dhcp) connection. As I dont have it hosted, it makes posting a link to it seem a little silly IMO.
My question could probably better be rephrased as, "Is there any widely known differences between the two versions of Mozilla that I may be unaware of?" or "Are there any pitfalls I should avoid when generating HTML for Mozilla 0.9.9 ?"
Having said that my HTML is generated with CGI.pm in a CGI::Application framework. I also thought posting 18kb of HTML in a node pretty excessive..
My intent wasnt to cause lots of rolling of the eyes, just ask (what I thought was) a faily simple question at a time when there wasnt too much CB activity (nor many ppl active). While I realise I am off topic here, I figured there would be some monks here using a similar combination of applications as I am, and thought this may not be unreasonable.
The feedback received thus far suggests otherwise, and so I appologise for my ignorance.

You could of course post the piece of code that generates the tables. You could narrow it down to the essential bits, and then post it. I'm quite sure that would be a lot less than 18 kB. Not only would that have made it possible for us to find the bug and help you, it would also have made your post on-topic. Besides, 18 kB is reasonable for publishing on your scratch pad.

Apart from built-in true type font support? Not that I know of.

You could do a search query on bugzilla to find out. That's the home of all (and there are many!) bugs that are reported for Mozilla.

I use Mozilla and have recently upgraded to 0.9.9. At first, I encountered a bug regarding forms, but it was not reproducable. I'd be happy to help, but that requires that you give the information needed. We cannot guess the structure of your table, we cannot guess the nature of the bug (does Mozilla segfault? does it display a message?)
