in reply to New jobs section

Looking at the style of that job offer (the Anonymous Monk one), I fear that those job offers will need a link in large friendly letters combined with a How-To on the front page, as this node seems to have been written in a hurry without further thinking about linking the email address or providing any interesting information or web page - and it's exactly that kind of persons that are likely to spam ... But luckily, we have moderators here that will prevent such job offers from showing up on the front page.

I as a student/part time contractor am interested in (well made) offers (unlike that one), but I would also think that my contract partners don't want me going "job hunting" during paid hours, so I would also never want any job advertisements on the front page.

So I add my vote on "banning" job offers to the background of the site. Known people with an account here will also know whom to ask here or maybe ask in the chat or browse people's home nodes and /MSG them, and spamming Anonymous Monks won't get in the way of the general public.
