There is a command-line program for searching CPAN, which has an -r option for listing PAUSE uploads from the last xx days.
sean@strange:~$ spause -r 1 [1 .] U/UM/UMEMOTO/Socket6-0.07.tar.gz 2000-06-02 [2 .] S/SC/SCHOP/htpl-2.69.tar.gz 2000-06-01 [3 .] R/RB/RBS/IPC-Run-0.2.tar.gz 2000-06-01 [4 .] P/PF/PFRANCEUS/LSF-Base-0.03.tar.gz 2000-06-01 [5 .] P/PF/PFRANCEUS/LSF-Batch-0.03.tar.gz 2000-06-01 [6 .] S/SC/SCHOP/perl-mumps-1.06.tar.gz 2000-06-01
This doesn't show you the readmes, but that shouldn't be hard to implement.
