French Tutorials Anyone?

I recommended this site to one of my friends but he is hesitant to use the tutorial section cause his english isn't to good. There are a few tutorials in other languages, so why not in french? If anyone is interested i could begin translating some of them into french during my free time. How about that?

I think you have already identified someone with an interest, so if you are willing to do this work it will definitely be appreciated. This site is a community effort and nobody needs official permission in order to contribute, which is a very cool thing.	[reply]

A quick search found this Introduction a Perl, for instance. Translating some tutorials here, or writing new ones, are both good ideas. However, just posting a catalogue of existing tutorials elsewhere is likely to be just as useful, and a lot less work. Bonne chance, though. It's a good idea. -- Mike	[reply]

This is related to a recent suggestion I made, to the effect that PM would benefit from a wiki-type page in which people could post links to articles, which other monks might sort into categories.	[reply]
