in reply to Approval Nodelet Changes

Hi there,

I like the new approval nodelet. It works OK for me - any chance Kanji's bugs could be posted so we can have a go at reproducing them.

Also, one side effect might be to reduce the NTC voting traffic, as most people would use the nodelet and only vote on the one considered node they are looking at. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

The in-nodelet voting options don't consistently work for me: after picking one of the choices and hitting submit, the Approval Nodelet still shows the voting options instead of the vote breakdown. Other times (or if I vote via Nodes to Consider), it will work just fine.

After talking with ar0n, I suspect it may be a browser issue (IE6), but where it's been so inconsitent I haven't been able to switch to something else when I see it happening.

For me, it's a good thing: I don't check Nodes to Consider as often as I mean to, so this way I actually vote more frequently and in a more timely manner.
