Once upon a time there was a group of people who liked to burn stuff. They burned stuff in parties at Baker Beach. Eventually, the parties grew too large, so the people decided to incorporate a city in the middle of the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. This city only has inhabitants for one week every year. In one week the city is built up, populated, and then burned. And the following year it starts all over again. This is a picture of me in this city from last August.
