Other than the weekly visit to use.perl.org to read up on Perl-related news, I don't read any other Perl forums at all.
So why not? Well, consider a few of the finer attributes of this site:
- Many extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable monks. It is a very rare occurence that I don't receive 4 or more excellent replies to a question. Even if I have an off-topic question, chances are someone in the chatterbox can point me in the right direction.
- A large archive of posts to search - nine times out of ten when I have a question I can do a quick search and find the answer.
- An excellent system - everything from the chatterbox, to the moderation system, to the link shortcuts and user home nodes. This beats mailing lists any day.
The list could go on and on. I don't see any need whatsoever to frequent any other Perl forums, and I have a feeling this one will be around for some time to come :).
