How I got here: Ex-English major turned film major turned electronic publishing editor. I'm afraid I use Perl for very boring things: file management and text manipulation via great big regexes. (I love regexes. I'm weird that way.) I have fond hopes of doing less-boring things, like creating a Perl tarot program, and transforming all my favorite Shakespeare scenes into Perl poetry.
