Ok, so if it's silly, it should be. But I just reminds me of some kind of Doubleclick demographic analysis, so they can bring us better, "targeted" ads at the top of the page. :-)

The polls are mostly for amusement. They don't have to relate to pearl. There was one awhile ago about how often you worked out. It's just something to make the site a little more fun.
