in thread How does one override 550 relays for Mail::Sendmail?

I edited the exim.conf file and took out the restriction on relays from any local domain to a non-local one... so my Debian box werks now but... the RedHat6.2 one has /etc/mail/access as you suggested at first. This already contains lines to allow relays from localhost etc. but it still doesn't werk. Do you know where any other restrictions are on how to unrestrict outbound mail traffic? I'm very thankful. TTFN.

    Pip,

Sorry to say this, but by the 9th RE:; you should consider doing some RTFMing... Most monks around here are probably familiar with Sendmail, but its not our place to instruct you on how to setup a basic service. There are plenty of docs on the net refering to Sendmail (or Exim) configurations. I suggest you find one, or (as suggested before) go shopping for the ORA Sendmail book. While you're at it, I'd probably get a copy of DNS and Bind since they play an important role, explaining A, CNAME, MX records, et al.

    I hope I wasn't rude.
