Planned downtime

On Tuesday January 21st at 2pm EST Pair will be taking down our DB Server and upgrading the operating system on it. Expected downtime is approximately 15 minutes.

    Could you make it 12 hours? Give me a chance to get some work done ;-)

      Hey, did you ever know any computer related task to take the "expected" amount of time? ;)

      12 hours would seem to be excessive overshoot for anything other than a catastrophe though.
