in thread OT: Building a small home server

Around christmas time, I was building a new box as my old one had become out of date, and ran like a one legged man, and I was able to configure a new box (from the case up) relatively inexpensively, using pricewatch.com.

I got all my pieces within two weeks, and the entire PC (minus CD-ROM, Hard Drive, and floppy) cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $200. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised at the price, and the new box has been great so far.

And no, I am not getting paid to say this.

[Corion]: Yay. I've now published (at $work) that random Excel workbook where on one sheet you enter your SQL and on the other sheet, you have a button and receive the results. I'm so evil in enabling cow-orkers to self-supply ;)
[Corion]: It's close to my Perl script where you paste in the SQL and get the result as XLSX file, but I guess the Excel sheet is more user-friendly :)
[choroba]: What drivers does it support? ;-)
[erix]: sounds cool -- but now you have to give SQL lessons?
