It won't be.

Although, as I see it money donated to the site was done to further improve the website, through whatever means the owners deem appropriate (props to vroom for consulting first though). Does it really make a difference if it's bandwidth or engine improvements? I Just hope Pair's generosity doesn't suddenly run out...

    The only thing I'm currently considering being worth paying for is refactoring the node cache, which will certainly be made available to other Everything versions.

      OK, I accept the explanation. As much as I would like it to be OS, I can understand your reasons to keep the source hidden for now, especially as I could not do the security audit myself.

      It would be nice to have this as a long term goal though.

        It's one of my long-term goals.

      Sorry, I didn't re-read the node as it relates to this thread. If all you're rewriting is the node cache, which you plan to make available, then I see no problems whatsoever. Other issues regarding the availability of already written code are a separate problem. So good work and go for it :).
