NET::FTP between server

vrempire has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

hi guys,I want to use Net::FTP,but I am not sure,whether both the server required libnet.And also,does the another server that we want to enter,need the perl program inside it?Thanks for your guys concern.

    FTP is a standard networking protocol. Net::FTP simply supplies a programmable client for this protocol. What this means effectively is that the machine that you are connecting to only needs to be running the FTP daemon (which it probably is). So no, it doesn't need Perl or libnet.

      thank you davorg for your answer.just I now,I successfully done the get and put using Net::FTP ,and it worked out fine.Feel so happy since I've tried it a long time ago,but didn't work.Today is my luckiest day.Thank you davorg.
