in thread Mandatory indenting

Dear lame, anonymous poster,

I wish I could downvote your post more than once :)

maybe you should tell him why it fails

Maclir knows why it fails, and with a little bit of common sense, so can you.

It fails because the source filter is adding curlies where curlies should not be.

and the simple workaround?

The workaround is: don't do that. This source filter does not support escaping newlines.

let me guess, you didn't even take the 12 seconds to RTFM.

That is correct. Because I do not care about Python's friendly manual, I didn't read it. The root node of this thread explains why.

Now, let me guess. You didn't read my post. Pay special attention to the P.S. and the places where I explain how the source filter works and that it is a quick hack.

I'm not sure why you continue to languages you know nothing about.

This post was not about Python, it was about mandatory indenting. Yes, I did ask if Python would be flexible enough - that did not imply anything.

I'm not sure why you reply in threads that you have not read.

Perhaps you should stop complaining

I was not complaining and I still am not. I said that I don't like Python because it expects me to follow its indenting logic. That is not a complaint, that is a simple statement. Please, before posting another stupid and irrelevant reply, READ THE THREAD.

Perhaps you should stop complaining and start reading, it's a far superior approach.

Yes, I really do think you should.

HAND.
