Deeply interested in how things work, especially us

Our self delusions, mental and biological filtering of our misinterpretations and misperceptions of our world around us is amazing. How such a system could possibly work is beyond me (but I keep trying to understand it). The realization that all of the flaws(?) in said system are necessary for us to operate successfully is enough to make one sit up and take notice.

All in all I find it difficult to be bored no matter how hard I try.
