There are 3 good mod_perl books i can think of:
  1. Practical mod_perl
  2. mod_perl Developer's Cookbook
  3. Writing Apache Modules with Perl and C
But, have you looked at Apache::LogFile yet? That might be all you need ...

    Well I'd rather not use any books (not that I don't like reading but the company won't buy them).
    I'll have a look at Apache::LogFile thanx, but I think I already peered into it.
