I can't recreate an example, but i do know that code tags are rendered differently depending upon where they are found. For example, this
and when variable <code>$foo</code> is undef ...
is transformed into:
and when variable <tt>$foo</tt> is undef ...
Whereas code tags that span more than one line:
Here is an example:
<code>
$foo = $bar;
</code>
becomes:

Here is an example:
<pre><tt class="code">$foo = $bar;
</tt></pre>
If you do recreate this "bug", please post the offending HTML.
