Dude,

I mean, holy crap though. This is really a time when the fate of newbies rests in your comments. There was a time when I would have gone an just used your suggestion. Especially after seeing your standing with PerlMonks.

I know you are aggrivated so please don't think that I am speaking down to you. Stupid is not the same as new and inexperianced.


or B) want me to write all of the original posts code for him.
I don't speak for everyone here, so these are my own thoughts. I don't expect you to write code for a person at all. It is nice when you do, but it isn't required.
When you posted this code...

Um: use CGI; my $cmd = param('cmd'); print `$cmd`;
It looked as if you were saying 'Look, dumbass...do this.' If you would have posted some kind of 'this is a major nono, but it works' or something, anything; then your node wouldn't have been downvoted so much.
