What happens if twelve hours and one minute later, you lost too much XP to stay at your new level?
Does it help to think that you get to celebrate becoming a Friar twice?

I had never felt such a malign desire to downvote a node before. I had already checked the box and was going to submit, with a sadistic smile on my face... Darn this conscience, always getting in the way.

Eat lots of stodgy food and think very hard about this question. Then, when you hit the mark again, you'll be a deep, fat, friar.

You should take a look at my home node then... I made saint 6 times in one day. What a bumpy ride that was.
Please take this more lightly. It's all in good fun, and you will get there eventually. | [reply] |

OK OK - I GET the message. No more XP suggestions/discussion from me.
I must say that I did not expect such cannibalistic behaviour at this site.
FYI - I have been bounced off Friar twice so far, the second time due to downvotes on this node.
Please be kind enough to ignore this node completely.
Thank you

We already have a Fish Friar.
Will you settle for being the Chip Monk?
Never thought I'd find a use for that primary school joke.

Please, let's not start these games.
This is right up there with setting the clocks in your life ahead by 20 minutes so you can be on time, even with lousy time management skills.
The problem with this method is that everyone else that uses those clocks needs to subtract 20 minutes to know what time it really is.
My ire at the thought of this makes me want to down vote this node.
My concience would make me upvote this node again.
My sense of duty will make me leave it alone.
Sigh

I have to agree with the other commentors here. Experience is always great, but is not really necessary. It is definately an interesting way to be able to give rewards and abilities to those who are indeed here more often in the pursuit of knowledge....or amusement ;) | [reply] |
