In case anyone does a search on this in the future, I looked around and found a post on a discussion board about Mozilla that was by one of the ActiveState programmers - he said that they had plans to port Komodo to Solaris and Mac OSX - the Solaris port is already out as far as I know, and he said they wanted to make sure the Mac one was a good one (looks).
So it looks like it will be out eventually if that is something I wanted. And therefore it looks like I will be getting the Mac - a big change for me. I feel dirty, yet excited about the shiny case that should be more durable and hopefully have fewer future licensing issues than my current Windows laptop that is dying. ------------------------------------------------------------------- There are some odd things afoot now, in the Villa Straylight.
