Actually, you could go to Seekers of Perl Wisdom, hit "Next 10" and then change the URL to "next=1730" or whatever.

Then you would clearly see, that the first post to SOPW was by posted by vroom, concerning How can I cleanly split a string of text into a two-dimensional array. BTW: the node id is 835.
