Do yourself a favor and change your theme. Pick something that does not look like the default, which is the chosen theme for Anonymous Monks. It is very possible that you thought you were logged in and you weren't. Also, logging into perlmonks.org is not the same as logging into www.perlmonks.org ... pick one and keep it consistent. And, of course, the important thing is that hopefully you had your problems answered, regardless of which User Hat you wearing at the time.
