Not everyboby can be blessed overnight with your wizzy db skills.

No skills come overnight, especially database experience, which I got after years of studying, working, and listening to the ones who know more than me.

If you don't have time, I am afraid that you won't get what you're looking for. Knowledge can't be distributed as a whole, but for one piece at the time you're welcome to it.

The Monastery is not in the business of doing your job, but it will help you if you make a little effort of explaining what you need.

I was trying to be helpful, showing you the path to improve your skills. From that point on, it's up to you. If you are more interested in finding an alibi than solving your problem, then there is very little that I (or the other Monks) can do for you.

Good luck.

Yes, I am at the stage that you were years ago.

An MS SQL Server book has just arrived today. There are few people that I am working with who can offer guidance.

Strategic questions were required because I was in the business of deciding on suitable approaches to get to the end product (several years down the line).

I realise that you were trying to be helpful and I am very interested in solving the problems. Some interesting points have come from this thread (not my previous post .. sorry about that).
