wxPerl rox! It's the implementation of wxWindows (http://www.wxwindows.org/) at Perl.
http://wxperl.sourceforge.net/ If you want portability, stability and resources it's the option. Works on Win32, Linux, Mac OSX, and the list goes... See some screenshots of the same code: http://wxperl.sourceforge.net/sshot01.html
